Please forgive any typo's in this post as my typing is a bit labored at the moment. You see I've had the flu since Thursday night and so to relax me and my 3 year old were snuggled in the bed. He was watching Rescue Hero's and mommy was using the laptop. I left the room to get a drink and sat in the living room for about 10 minutes before my child joined me. He said his movie was over and he had a VERY sheepish grin on his face. I figured it was because the movie wasn't over and he just turned off the TV - which would mean he was lying (we're learning what lying is so it's a testing game for him).
About an hour later I returned to my bedroom to get my laptop and found a big surprise! Out of 78 keys on my keyboard, he managed to pull all but 13 off. It took me a few hours to get most of them back on. Sound easy right? Wrong! With my MAC there is this little piece called a scissor (which is actually 2 pieces intertwined together. And the Keycap goes onto of the scissor. I had to piece back together each 'scissor' and then fit that back onto the computer and then snap the Keycaps back onto the scissors. I have 10 broken scissors (like my shift key and space bar) and it will cost me approximately $100 to purchase new ones.

I think there are 2 morals to this story. The first being, don't leave your mischievous child alone with anything that is the least bit tempting (okay, I admit, I've had to learn this lesson with this child on more than one occasion). The second moral of the story is that we all have kid's that aren't perfect and when we're least expecting it they'll remind you why you should always suspect it.
btw... yes I was mad as heck. But being a photographer at heart, I did have the wherewith-all to retrieve my child from his bedroom and make him pose next to the laptop for this picture (which, upon taking the photo, he was promptly returned to his room).
